Playa Palmares is a shining example of a fully accessible, family-friendly public beach in Puerto Vallarta. Holding international Blue Flag certification, it features a paved pedestrian overpass, wheelchair and stroller access ramps, on-site lifeguards, and clean public facilities. The soft golden sand gently slopes into calm emerald water, making it one of the safest swimming beaches along the South Shore.
How to get there
Located along Highway 200 South in the scenic South Shore corridor.
- Take the orange Mismaloya / Boca bus from Basilio Badillo & Constitución in Romantic Zone (10 MXN).
- 10-25 min drive south along Highway 200.
