Playa Los Muertos in Sayulita is a peaceful oasis away from the heavy surf and bustle of the town center. Reached by a pleasant 10-minute stroll past the town's famously decorated cemetery, the cove is naturally shielded by two volcanic rocky points that block ocean swell, creating gentle, kid-friendly swimming waters.
How to get there
Located along the North Shore / Riviera Nayarit coastline.
- Take the ATM or Compostela bus from Walmart terminal in Puerto Vallarta.
- 30-50 min drive north along Highway 200.
